Inverters Inverters convert 12/24/48 DC battery power to AC 120V for use in conventional households. Modified Sine Wave has been a bit of a marketing term that really has not much to do with reality. In PV what you will always want to buy is PURE SINE WAVE INVERTERS as "Modified" is nothing more than chopped square wave inversion. Over time, these inverters will beat electronics to death and most radios you will hear noticable static.Dont compromise the clean sine that is coming from your panels and batteries and dumb it down with a cheaper modified square wave inverter!They are cheap for a reason,they are NOT PURE SINE WAVE!! |
